The Keeney Manufacturing Company was founded by Bertha Macristy Hanna in New Britain, CT in 1923. For over 79 years, Keeney has developed into one of the largest manufacturers of tubular brass products. In 1970, Plumb Pak and Duracraft plastics were created and originated under the Keeney name. Plumb Pak was created to take on the new and growing "do-it-yourself" market while Duracraft plastics was originated as a competitive alternative to the traditional brass plumbing products. Today, Plumb Pak, Duracraft Plastics, Tubular Industries of Canada Ltd. and Belanger Plumbing are allied under our one corporate identity.

Timeline
1923Founded by Bertha Macristy Hanna in New Britain, CT. The company manufactured floor and ceiling plates and radiator air valves.
1925The facility moved to its current location: 1170 Main Street, Newington, CT. The Keeney Manufacturing Company began to supply an extensive line of brass goods that include many of the products still used today. These included/include traps, continuous wastes, waste and overflows, strainers, tailpieces, and fittings, as well as the floor and ceiling plates and radiator air valves.
1970Plumb Pak was created to take on the "new" do-it-yourself market. Its reputation was and still is based on its ability to creatively market and merchandise to the Hardware and bath safety markets by means of award winning displays.
1980'sFacilities in GA, NV, and NH comprise Plumb Pak's strategically located nationwide distribution network. This system allows us to ship 98.1% of orders within 5 days of receipt.
1995As the market expanded, Plumb Pak expanded as well. The Plumb Pak Catalog contained everything from traditional tubular plumbing products to repair part programs for sinks, faucets, bathrooms and showers. Further more, Plumb Pak expanded its program to include a line of bath safety products known as Independence. Plumb Pak's merchandising and marketing concepts make it a leader in the industry.
1997Plumb Pak, Duracraft Plastics, Tubular Industries of Canada, Ltd., and Belanger Plumbing united under one corporate identity; The Keeney Manufacturing Company.
2000The Keeney Manufacturing Company consolidates its previous New Hampshire packaging and distribution facilities into one 215,000 square foot packaging, distribution, and manufacturing in W. Winchester, NH.
