For over 87 years The Keeney Manufacturing Company has been manufacturing tubular brass products in Connecticut. Founded in New Britain, CT in 1923 the Keeney family of products has grown from coin air valves, to brass and plastic under sink repair parts, to quarter turn valves, bath drains, toilet repair parts and many more. Continually praised as an industry leader in both the wholesale and retail markets, Keeney and Plumb Pak thrive on exceptionally high order fulfillment rates, breadth of available products and customer friendly merchandising.

The Keeney Manufacturing Company is headquartered in Newington, CT and currently has facilities in four US states as well as Canada and China. Our lines of products can be found in retail locations and wholesale location in the United States and Canada.

Keeney in the Community

The Keeney Manufacturing Company, and its employees, support the communities that they live and work in by giving back. Keeney is dedicated to being an active and involved member of the community. The Keeney Manufacturing Company has the privilege to partner with our customers to support the organizations they are dedicated to and with our employees in support of organizations close to home.

Annually, The Keeney Manufacturing Company sponsors the Newington Library 5K Challenge. All proceeds from the 5K Challenge benefit the Lucy Robbins Welles Library. May of 2010 marks the 14th running of the 5K road race. For more information on how to participate.

On a monthly basis, The Keeney Manufacturing Company sponsors a Dress Down Day in support of a local charity. The employees are able to dress to impress in their favorite Keeney casual clothing, including jeans, and in exchange for their comfort they contribute monetary donations to the charity of the month. Upon tallying the employee donation, The Keeney Manufacturing Company then matches the donations to double what the charity will receive. A few of the charities that have benefited are:

The Keeney Manufacturing Carole Lipka Scholarship est. 2008 is given annually to a Newington High School senior female student enrolled in the fields of Marketing, Finance, Accounting or Engineering pursuing a career in Manufacturing. The Lipka Scholarship was established upon the retirement of a 50 year veteran employee of The Keeney Manufacturing Company.
