The sink tailpieces you need to comply with ASSE 1044 Standards. 1-1/2” and 1-1/4” 17 Gauge Brass tailpieces each with a ½” nominal connection connect easily to any device that requires gravity feed drainage. These trap primer tailpieces ensure that a water seal in the trap is maintained.

The ASSE Standard is designed to supply water to a drain trap to provide and maintain its water seal using a supply from a fixture drain line, ballcock, or flushometer valve tailpiece or an electronic primer device. The rate of water flow to the trap can be fixed or adjustable.
