The Slip Joint Extension Tube installs easily to extend and complete a plumbing drain installation.
RECOMMENDED PROCEDURE FOR INSTALLATION:

1. Turn off water at the tap.
2. Remove old extension tube.
3. Remove nut A and washer B.
4. Measure distance X, as illustrated.
5. Cut extension tube to length with hacksaw.
6. Put nut A and washer B on tailpiece as illustrated.
7. Position extension tube and hand tighten nuts. Run water to test for leaks.

NOTE: These parts are designed for a hand-tight installation. Pipe thread compound is not required.
