Recommended Procedure for Installation With Washing Machine Drain
  1. Apply small amount of pipe threaded compound to the threaded stub-out.
  2. Thread cast elbow onto stub-out. Make sure male threads are parallel to the floor.
  3. Assemble washer B onto drain tube.
  4. Slide nut A entire length of drain tube and attach to elbow. Tighten nut securely. Test with water.
With J Bend for Lavatory Sink
  1. Apply small amount of pipe threaded compound to the threaded stub-out.
  2. Thread cast elbow onto stub-out. Make sure male threads are parallel to the floor.
  3. Assemble washer B onto J Bend.
  4. Tighten nut A to elbow securely. Run water to test for leaks.
Teflon® Tape Pipe or Spud Wrench
