Adjustable Fill Valve

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Turn off water supply and flush to empty tank.
  2. Remove lock nut, old fill valve, and refill tube.
  3. Adjusting the valve to correct height: Pull down the safety ring. Twist shank and push or pull to desired height. Lock in place by turning shank and replace safety ring. C-L (critical level) mark found on fill valve should be at least 1” above top of overflow pipe per plumbing code requirement.
  4. With the tank washer attached, insert the threaded end of the valve through the hole and screw the locknut onto the shank valve. Reconnect the water supply line. Note: Do not over tighten locknut.
  5. Attach refill tube to new fill valve. Cut to desired length. Attach other end of refill tube to the overflow pipe of flush valve. Note: Check for kinks in refill tube before cutting.
  6. Turn on the water supply to the toilet and check for leaks.
  7. Setting the shut off point: Depress push button on the side of the float and raise or lower until desired water level is achieved. Adjust the shut off point to match the level on the flush valve or toilet tank wall. If the water level is not marked, adjust shut off to at least 1 inch below overflow tube. Note: You may need to flush the toilet a few times to reach the desired water level in tank.
