Elbows — Installation Instructions

RECOMMENDED PROCEDURE FOR INSTALLATION:
  1. Turn off water at the tap.
  2. Align drain elbow with outlet on garbage disposal.
  3. Place disposer gasket between the disposer outlet and the drain elbow.
  4. Slide metal retaining flange over elbow up to disposer.
  5. Insert screws and tighten securely attaching elbow to disposer.
  6. Place nut from J Bend or extension tube on elbow.
  7. Position elbow to drain into J Bend or extension tube and tighten all nuts securely.
Note:Plastic parts are designed for a hand tight installation. Pipe thread compound is not required.
