Keeney in the Community

Keeney, and its employees, support the communities that they live and work in by giving back. Keeney is dedicated to being an active and involved member of the community. Keeney has the privilege to partner with our customers to support the organizations they are dedicated to and with our employees in support of organizations close to home.

Annually, Keeney sponsors the Newington Library 5K Challenge. All proceeds from the 5K Challenge benefit the Lucy Robbins Welles Library.

On a monthly basis, Keeney sponsors a Dress Down Day in support of a local charity. The employees are able to dress to impress in their favorite Keeney casual clothing, including jeans, and in exchange for their comfort they contribute monetary donations to the charity of the month. Upon tallying the employee donation, Keeney then matches the donations to double what the charity will receive. A few of the charities that have benefited are:

Other ways Keeney Employees actively participate in the community includes our annual beautification project every Earth Week. Employees team up and walk around our community picking up trash and debris.

Keeney also participates in a blood drive every April that is open to the public.
