Lead Free Mission Statement
Keeney’s lead free mission is to be compliant to the California AB 1953 legislation, other state laws, and a new federal lead free initiative that takes effect January 4, 2014 . In order to accomplish this we will be creating new part numbers and UPC Codes for the items effected. This will allow you, our customer, an inventory control measure as well as visibility of the items that are going into the states that are affected by the lead free initiative.
NOTICE – In compliance with the California, Vermont, Maryland, and Louisiana lead free standards, no leaded faucet water supply lines, hose connectors, or valves are to be sold or used in those states for drinking or cooking water systems. When purchasing, please order lead free for your drinking water or cooking water systems in California, Vermont, Maryland, and Louisiana. Thank you.
